We were in Low Wood near Loughrigg Tarn in the Lake District yesterday. The bluebells are at their best just now.
The bluebell was voted Britain’s favourite wild flower in a survey in 2015 by charity Plantlife. When you take a walk in the woods and see that wonderful combination of sunlight and dapple shade, showing carpets of colour, you can see why people love this flower.
