Kristie said: “Hi, I just wanted to say thank you for a great set of Sketches they are exactly what I have been looking for. I am by no means an artist at all but just enjoy messing around with paints while away on holiday with my family in our caravan. …. When I saw the sketched outlines and pictures in Derwent Pencil Factory they seemed like the exact thing I have been looking for. I had bought some watercolour pencils some time ago but haven’t found the right thing to use them on until now. I bought a water brush and gave the first one a go and was really pleased with myself for working through to the end, I will post a quick picture of my attempt, lots of things to improve on and learning about watercolours as I go but just wanted to say thank you as I have really enjoyed having a go at this one and will work my way through the others hopefully improving as I go. What a fantastic idea to help give people like myself (a not very artistic 40 year old dad of three girls with very limited free time) a helping hand using areas of interest which can be seen first hand.
